The
other day I saw a man lied out in the rain,
Passersby
walked ‘long side his cold state.
Stopped
to look, point and stare,
But ask
for help and no one’s there.
His
blatant sins didn’t make theirs better.
Why’s
it have to be this way,
Everyone
going their way,
No time
left,
Nothing
to hold onto
Through
differences we’ll recognize,
We’re
brothers standing side by side.
A
blanket don’t fit quite like a sweater.
To
sacrifice most your life
Just to
maintain the hype,
You
might just be better
Playing
your own game.
The
rainfall drops, the
Droplets
pour, they saturate
My
mental floor
Take
the time to sacrifice
For you
as well, it could be nice,
So when
it starts to really pour,
You’ll
realize you’ve given more.
So next
time, you find, yourself in the rain
Raise
your head! Feel it shed
And
forget your brains.
You
don’t live twice.
It’s
just your life.
And
sacrifice is sweet
But
bitter.
In the
now, it’s so clear how
There’s
nothing but me and myself.
But
once I move to left or right
The
picture frame jumps out of sight
And I
remember I forgot the letter.
Yes.
Time is lost! We can’t be found,
The
list no end, where’s the way out?
These
images of sight and sound surely can
Be
blocked out.
Why’s
it have to be this way,
Everyone
going their way,
No time
left,
‘s what’s
holding this together?
Though
different, we’ll recognize,
We’re sisters
standing side by side.
Through
family, we can make it better.
When’d
it ever get this way,
Self
interests in their might place
We have
no time, and that’s just it.
There’s
lots of hours, we’re all just sick.
And
hungry for some passion in this quickly moving ration cant we stop
For
just a while.
Creep
up a little smile-
And
simply feel happy for nothing.
No
gizmos, widgets, boots or tacks
Nor
lace, shoe traces or match.
In
silence we learn sensory
Returned,
Where
you’re sitting is what you’re looking at.
Probably
never see the frame
As man
on the street
Though,
circumstance has a chance
We all
have felt defeat.
It’s
better to care and be mindful of mind tricks,
Don’t
be caught unaware, of your thoughts that you brought this,
With time
we’ll all find we’re
Brothers
and sisters, all shoulder to shoulder,
Walking
alone in the rain.
But comrades
we are, it won’t take
Long,
to stop
And realize
we’re together.
